St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana Warrant Search
Arrest warrants are court orders that give law enforcement the legal right to arrest and detain an individual. An arrest warrant is issued when it is reasonably suspected that a person has committed a crime. While police officers are responsible for arresting the suspect, they cannot issue warrants. An arrest warrant can only be approved by a judicial officer, such as a judge or magistrate.
